i always reflect on how ve changed me as a person. but i realised, that ve not merely changed me for the better.
ve made me a different person. you know, it's like going thru a changing machine. whereby the starting and ending product is entirely different.
who said mlm are professional scammers?
dont make baseless accusations. there are definitely black sheeps in every industry. if you choose to look at the black sheeps and judge an industry, let me tell you then. charity is bullshit, cos of what happened in the nkf case that time; all sales jobs are con-jobs, cos there are conmen around who con people through selling stuff; tetiary education certs are worthless, cos some people spend money to BUY a cert.
those are absolutely unfair statements right? then why are people branding networkers as professional conmen? there are conmen out there on the streets who sell fake stuff, but venture era, we deal with products, that benefit people. i myself have benefitted, ive seen people benefit, and ive studied about nutrition.
then again, i learnt so much about nutrition that ive benefitted those around me.
i used to be a person who just hecks about everything else and well, my mom always told me "we live life once, if you dont eat it now, when will you?" so it kinda like, makes me think that, life is about whatever food you wanna eat ;D but i realised, that not everyday has to be whatever-you-wanna-eat day, because whatever-you-wanna-eat = unhealthy food most of the time. and i find that in myself, i'll actually take less of stuff like kfc and mac's macspicy. maybe you can say "havent seen any diff in huifang." let me tell you, wait and watch me shine ;D but zz. i wont be missing out on anything. cos id rather indulge in a fine treat for myself in any aspect. ;D and in fact, when 1st uncle got hospitalised, i could tell my mom what he ought to eat and what he ought not to. makes me seem like i actually bother to care about this uncle who i dont usually talk much with. when grandma fell down, got diabetes etc, i could advice accordingly. whether or not, they took my advice to heart, i know ive contributed. and my teenage life wasnt wasted on being a deliquent like some of my cousins HAHA! cos i gained knowledge that will stay with me for life (:
who said venture era taught nothing?
at those trainings, regardless of at a group level, associate level or company level, i learnt different kinda stuff. how to talk with confidence to adults id never met before, how to react to a crowd of 300, how to speak to a crowd of 300, how to share my thoughts across in a proper way, what to do to ensure a team runs well, how to manage my guys, and simply, how to lead people. you may think leading people is easy. but let me tell you, it isnt. considering the fact that ive taken up different leadership positions since sec 2.. it's still a challenge to me when i have to find out my own style of being a leader, my own style of convincing and talking to others to ensure im not talking crap but logic, and of cos, stretching myself to hit the limits, or even beyond.
on an executive/ manager level, i even got opportunities to take up courses to further my nutrition knowledge, got awarded with a cert, attended speakers' and trainers' association's courses on public speaking and salesmanship, went for a couple of host trainings, and well, i learnt to be a host of cos. like you know, the proper way of reacting to the crowd, to ra-ra the crowd, to not create a WEIRD image when hosting etc.
venture era made people materialistic.. untrue.
doing a business is all about image. dont tell me, when you report for work in future, even if youre not doing a business, but doing a normal office job, you report in shorts and sandals? IMPOSSIBLE ;D
