BOO! im back from the 4d3n LTC!! WOOHOO!! I SURVIVED!! OH YEA MAN!! n i love grand finale!! I LOVE OUR SKIT!! NU NU N NEE NEE!! (refer to paragraph 5) PICTURES ALL THE WAY BELOW!!
i survived 4 days without milk, cheese n chocolate. =x lols. im sure half the world missed me too!! AHHH!! here comes my buyaolian-ness again :D shall b a LONGGGGG entry about my 4 days of happiness at LTC :))))))) all about SIR GARETH THE HANDSOME MAN. (sir nu nu, team nee nee n others like shortie, shy taekwando expert n BO!!)
1st day- started off with land expedition. walked from labrador adventure campsite(LAC) to kentridge park to nus to west coast park. rawrrs. just think lahs! it tk us the whole day to walk thr n we camp thr at night. omg can??! n our team is like SOOOO lucky. the first team to walk out of LAC but the first person we asked for for directions was so KUKU wrong. he was so confident. yet we realised he gave us the wrong direction n we were walking exactly opposite =x kuku. then we had nightquest at night (duh!). SO LUCKY mr lim let me b the unblindfolded person. lol. n jasper was my blindfolded partner. walked the distance n talked alot to him on the way, getting to know him better. well, as wad jasper shared during our last facil-team interaction, he supposedly "felt comfortable" with me leading him. wahahas. c, TRUST :)))))) yayness. at least i know i did smth right despite us getting wet by tt stupid benjamin tan who used water gun to shoot at us n our candle =x (at one of the stations) rawrrrs. we slept in tents tt night. wahs. damn sticky cos couldnt bathe =x but we slept for 6 hrs anw. hahas. 10 ppl crowded in one tent =.=
2nd day- woke up at 6.15am. LUCKY!! cos we were told to get to the nearby mac when 2 thunders were heard. n when GARETH guys n girls walked to mac, it started to rain heavily. just at tt precise moment when we stepped in. LOL. was a weird day with 2 meals of nasi lemak =x breakfast n lunch. but wahhhs. the lunch was fr changi lei! but tt meal cost me alot ahh, cost me an arm. bcos the non-kayakers went to collect lunch. n we had to walk a distance. so taking a heavy packet of drinks for a long distance made my left arm practically useless =x muscle strained. rawrrrrs. but anyways, was quite disappointed initially cos i wasnt allowed to kayak cos i indicated tt im a non-swimmer in the consent form (smth which i thot i did otherwise =.=||) but in the end we went back to LAC to BATHE N SLEEP!!! shuang can??! me n xiaowei bathed for like, uh, 45 min?? LOL. i set alarm at 4.45pm to wake up but ended up waking at 6pm!! hahas. then the rest came back at abt 6 smth. hahas. all tired n sunburnt. awww. i wanted a sunburn so much lahs!!!! but read on..
3rd day- we had high elements the whole day. but due to my half-paralysed left arm, i couldnt attempt the challeng pole, n sm other thingy i didnt know it's name. i tried rock climbing, which was the first event of the day. it was TRAUMATISING. so damn angry can. i belay lucas tt approx 184cm kuku n i can hold him up when he fell. but when i fell i i fell STRAIGHT TO THE GROUND. wad f*ck is this??! blame it all on the belayer ok. supposed to b always vigilant n ready to hold the person up if he or she falls. wad the kuku. evry1 was shocked lahs. but aiya, lucky i was ok. legs nthg wrong cos i wasnt too high up yet. otherwise i wil kill the belayer when i recover.... it wasnt due to the lack of trust. i really felt super insecure with a person who looked so BLUR in a hopeless way. (comparing, lucas is blur in a funny way but HE is blur in a =.=|| way. get wad i mean?) anyways, i helped out alot with the belaying at the rest of the high elements lo. the only other one i attempted was the one which i had tried b4, yet i cried like so retard. situation:-
as the person b4 me abseiled down at a slow rate (oh luckily), i was telling the tcher in charge of the station, mr heng (maths tcher at ny) abt my left arm prob. well. i really didnt want to do it cos i felt insecure with my left arm. but i just went ahead with it cos my team told me to. hahas. so i stood out aftr being belayed.
mr heng: u let go of the rope abit by abit using ur right hand. lean back first.
me: ok *lean back, SLIDES!
me: I DONT WANT I DONT WANT I DONT WANT! VERY SLIPPERY!! *climb BACK to the platform.
CRIED LIKE SOME STUPID IDIOT!! but mr heng was really v nice lahs, encouraging me, calming me down, plus lucan n yingxuan's cheers fr upstairs, n the shouts fr downstairs fr my team. i really cried v hard. i really wanted to give up. (though i abseiled fr level 3 <1> in sec 3) but the encouragement they gave me spurred me on. i knew i had to do it. n since mr heng guaranteed tt he'll pull the belay tightly, i went on. i reached the ground quickly. but legs turned jelly n eyes red like kuku cos i cried so hard =x but i really knew i lacked the confidence then, even though i did it in the end =x lols.
then at night we had the rehearsal for the GRAND FINALE!! lucas was chosen to act as SHORT person.contrasting right? SHORTIE!!! hahas. n he had to do those chao spastic things like rolling onto stage n jumping n saying "SIR NU NU!!" lols. cuteeeee!! then aftr tt stil had to act cute too by doing the "1" shot. (*REFER TO PIC BELOW) AWW. total cuteness!!! hahas. we kept laughing each time he had to re-do it :)))) lol. n of cos not forgetting the SMART PPL in the cast- me, xiao wei, erica n jocelyn!! :))))) WE R TEAM NEE NEE!! =D
4th day- had sharing early in the morn with our beloved facils. things were a blur aftr tt. rushing to pack the tents, changing fast, running arnd, getting scolded for late gather, rushing thru packing of stuffs, rushing thru logistics, rushing thru lunch. IT WAS A MESS! LOL. but anyways, 1 smth the grand finale started. n it was gr8. our skit went smoothly. YAY!! GAWAIN N GARETH!! =D lalalas. hahas. but i personally think we're the next best aftr the first skit. forgot which teams it was fr. but it was good lahs. hahas :)))) best knight presentation, cheers, n the day ended with photo taking. AWW. I LOVE TAKING PHOTOS WITH HANDSOME GARETH!! they're so CUTE!! =D YAY. our photos wil turn out NICEEEEEE lahs!! :))))) YAY!!
TEAM SIR GARETH, been thru so much. emotional moments when ppl cried, the encouragement tt nvr died, laughter, tolerance etc. these nvr left us. we were really bonded as a team. it started off rough. with some ppl being left out. but now at the end of the LTC, we're proud to say we're a team. A TEAM. WE R TEAM SIR GARETH OF EXCALIBUR. we held hands when we played games, went crazy about a dumbass game called murderer, enduring late nights just to complete wad we had to do, got scolded, got praised, chionging thru duties, eating tgt, washing plates etc etc. supporting one another mentally n physically. the sounds n cheers of encouragement nvr left us. our beloved facils who brought us out of out comfort zone, instilled the idea of the sense of emergency in us. strict, yet fun-loving, caring, n patient with us. we really appreciated WEI HAO N ELIZA. our gr8est facils. im sure alot were reluctant to say goodbye to eliza today. we can always c wei hao in college. but im sure we'll miss eliza. we'll miss TEAM SIR GARETH. (n of cos sir nu nu!) =D

this was a scene at lunch today. thr was ALOT of food, n the guys reacted immediately. in an UNGLAM way. well, i was looking for lucas n xue wei to finish the food, only to realise i cldnt find lucas though i'd found xue wei cos lucas was alr HAPPILY eating at the other side =.= this is his... uh.... 3rd serving? yea but he's among them. =x
